Welcome To Jazzie Shih Tzu

About Us...

I have bred and shown Shih Tzu for approx. 30 years under the name of Blue Moon Shih Tzu when I lived in the Emerald Valley and then Cascade Shih Tzu when I moved to Central Oregon.

I later partnered with Jazzie Shih Tzu that  was  founded approximately 20 years ago in the state of Washington for a little over 7 years. I have decided to continue under the Jazzie name.

We are located East of the Cascade Mountain Range and South of the Majestic Smith Rock.

The Boys and Girls I have raised are founded upon the most valued bloodlines of Wenrick, Symarun, Tu-Chu, and Ultra.

I  have collaborated, Co-Bred, and been solo for 30 plus years all on the end ever to improve, grow, and expand my knowledge of showing and breeding this adorable breed called Shih Tzu.

What a wonderful journey this has been. The most value from these years are the friendships I have acquired, the dogs that have filled our home with joy,  laughter and of course some mess and chaos.

The original Mascot of Jazzie Shih Tzu is of course "Miss Jazzie"

Ch. Jazzie's French Kiss aka Paris. Retired

Started her show career at Mt. Bachelor Kennel Club show in Redmond, Oregon June 28th, 2019 and finished  to her Championship October 31, 2019 in Medford, Or.

A spectacular young girl and totally enjoying her new life as a no muss no fuss sort of retired country girl.

Jazzie’s French Kiss earned her 1st. point June 29th., 2019 as WB and BOW. Wonderful way to start her career at the Redmond Mt. Bachelor Dog Show.

On July 20th., 2019 Jazzie’s French Kiss earned a 4pt. major at the Portland show. She received Winners Bitch, Best Of Winners, and Best Of Breed. Great Job Paris.

Paris has now earned 4 more points toward her Championship at the Roseburg Show the first weekend of Sept 2019.

Paris retired to her forever home and so very loved by her new family. She has a new brother call name Kevin.

Paris earned her 2nd. 3pt major at the Winnatchi Show in Wa. She earned a 3pt major in Medford at the end of October completing her Championship in a short 4 month period. We are so proud of this little Princess aka Champion Jazzie’s French Kiss.

There is usually someone watching outside for any would be guests, the UPS Truck driver, or in this case the Cookie man.

Dan Su Jam-Up's Cut To The Chase aka Chase

Dan Su Jam-Up's Cut To the Chase-Retired

Chase is a southern boy from Louisiana.  He started his Show Career in the late fall of 2019. He is co-owned with Dana Gayle Strain, Janis Oehlslager and myself.

Chase earned his first 4 pt. major at the Portland Show in December.  He went on to earn another 1pt. in Calif.  Then our normal was interrupted and our world changed with Covid-19.

We had high hopes for this vivacious character to become our next foundation stud at Jazzie Shih Tzu with an AKC Championship.

Sometimes things arn’t meant to be so he earned his forever home as a champion in the hearts of his new mom.  He is a lot of boy in a cuddly body.

I so wish he could have been our main man but the Championship title is an important asset to behold at Jazzie Shih Tzu for our males.

As God has said. “Do not worry or plan for tomorrow”. Covid 19 has invited herself to our world and overwhelmed us for sure. Thus changing our priorities, routine, and the goals for our boys and girls.

Chase really could care less if he earned his Championship. He has butterflies to befriend, laps to warm, and his family to fill their heart with his presence.
